Business Assets
Covers to repair or replace the property assets that are lost or damage in a confirmed claim. There are also some automatic extensions that apply under this cover.
Business Interruption
This follows a business assets claim. Can provide cover for loss of profits, wages, additional costs of working, loss of rents, costs for preparation of claims. An indemnity period applies to this cover.
Professional Indemnity
Any person offering advice or service based on expert knowledge for which they receive a fee or have a professional duty requires Professional Indemnity insurance. If a third party suffers financial loss because of this advice, they could seek reimbursement of these costs. This insurance covers the company for legal costs, settlements and court awards.
Public Liability
Cover the company and its subsidiaries for all amounts (including defence costs) which they become legally liable to pay as compensation in respect of unexpected and unintended personal injury or property damage which happens during the policy period and is caused by an occurrence arising from the business activities.
Employers Liability
Cover the company and its subsidiaries for damages and defence costs which it becomes legally liable to pay as a result of any employee of the insured sustaining personal injury arising out of or in the course of their employment (which is not covered by ACC).
Statutory Liability
For defence costs and fines/penalties in respect of unintentional breaches of almost all Acts. In respect of the Health & Safety in Employment Act, the policy covers defence costs and reparation orders.
Directors & Officers Liability
Cover the directors and officers for their personal liability resulting from claims made against them in the discharge of their duties on behalf of the company and its subsidiaries.
